Lost for words

I’ve just read this page on Y! news, about “China blocks entry to Scorsese’s Departed ”

but just look at this paragraph :

“The regulators just cannot understand why the movie wanted to involve China. They can talk about Iran or Iraq or whatever, but there’s no reason to get China in,” added the source, who is close to the country’s movie regulator.

OK guys if you don’t want that Hollywood’s movies point at your country that’s fair but don’t point to my homeland, Iran or any other country in the world.

Some people believe that the era of the silver screen is coming to an end and most of the people are losing intrest in going to the cinemas.

For several reasons I totally agree with this opinion in my country’s conditions.First of all it’s because of all this new technologies, nowadays most of the people have satellite access in there homes with dozens of various channels, in some of this channels you can find free movies to watch each night whereas you can also see any movie that you want on DVDs, even with this new HD-DVD (wiki) and Blu ray DVDs (wiki) you have so many options that you will never find in theaters. If you have high speed access to internet you can even download whatever you want from the net.

In addition, seeing movies in home is more convenient, first of all you don’t have to go out and you can enjoy “any” movie with your friends wile you lay down on your coach. And also in Iran’s case you can watch the full version of the movies, at last it’s cheaper to see movies in your home, mostly because you don’t have to waste money on transportation, somehow in most cases it’s cheaper even purchasing a DVD or CD than buying a single ticket and you can even borrow movies from your friends and watch them for free!

So with above reasons I think too that the silver screen era is coming to an end but I also don’t think it will overthrow, mostly because it will be always fun to see movies in theaters.

Tonight was a special night for online calendar hunting! It was a little less than a month since I was using Mozilla Sunbird. It’s really a good software but I want something web based.After a couple hours of searching and testing finally between all these good providers like Plaxo, Yahoo! Calendar and AirSet I choose Google Calendar its so simple and easy to use although it have still a lot of week points if you compare it with others.

After a couple of ping pong’s from this address to that and from MT to WP, finally with lots of help from my friend, I change
the engine of my English blog form MT to WP.

Now I’m studying for IELTS exam, and I think blogging in English would be really helpful specially for my writing section.So from now on I try to write more in here

Lesson One:

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing A small rabbit
saw the eagle and asked him, “Can I also sit on my ass like you and do
nothing?”

The eagle answered, “Sure, why not.” So, the rabbit sat on the ground
below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson:=To be sitting on your ass and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up.

Lesson Two:

A turkey was chatting with a bull. “I would love to be able to get to
the top of that tree,” sighed the turkey, “but I haven’t got the energy.”

“Well, why don’t you nibble on some of my manure droppings?” replied the bull. “They’re packed with nutrients.” The turkey pecked at a lump of manure and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. Soon he was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.

Management Lesson:
Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won’t keep you there.

Lesson Three:

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird
froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a
cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in
the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was
actually thawing him out. He lay there all warm and happy and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Management Lessons:

(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

(3) When you’re in deep shit, it’s best to keep your mouth shut

Hi folks, I decided to not write here for some time and I change my English blogs address and host from here to wordpress.com a very nice and free blogging service.
